Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnant and lactating women: Should not be taken before and during pregnancy, unless absolutely necessary. Using this medication during the last three months of pregnancy is dangerous to both mother and child. It may cause complication of liver, kidney and intestines. A small quantity of Acemetacin and its metabolites are found in the milk and lactating women taking this drug. It is therefore not to be taken before giving birth and during lactation.
