Gastrointestinal: Nausea vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and gastrointestinal perforation and hemorrhage. May have discomfort, ingestion, bloating, abdominal cramps, loss of appetite, peptic ulcer and bleeding. Occasionally, may experience blood in sputum, mouth sores, ulcers in esophageal lining, intestinal bleeding, enteritis, constipation. If the patient suffers from acute abdominal pain, black stool, stop the medication and see the doctor immediately.
Central nervous system and sensory organs: May experience headache, agitation, anxiety, fatigue, confusion, depression, tinnitus, dizziness, loss of consciousness, complete comatose, myasthenia, profuse perspiration, nervous breakdown, paranoia, borderline neurosis, cerebral palsy, shortage of memory, unusual taste sensory and abnormal vision (blurred vision, double vision, sees black spot and halo), hearing impairment, memory loss, convulsions, insomnia, nightmare, trembling, etc. Long term use may cause retinal pigmentation, corneal erosion and blurred vision.
Liver and pancreas: Lesion on the liver, pancreatitis, increased blood sugar, diabetes.
Kidney and urinary system: Kidney damage, albuminuria, blood in the urine. Stop taking the medicine as soon as symptoms occur or worsen, and consult a doctor immediately.
Heart circulatory system: High blood pressure, discomfort and palpitation.
Allergy and skin reaction: Skin rash, itchiness, urticaria, mouth sores, alopecia, rare blisters, eczema, dermatitis, bleeding, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Lyell's Syndrome. Swelling, dropping eyelids, swelling of tongue, throat inflammation, breathing difficulty, palpitation, low blood pressure, shock, etc. See the doctor immediately if symptoms appear. Anaphylaxis or pneumonia may happen.
Blood: Blood abnormality such as anaemia, high leucocytes count; low blood platelets count. Initial symptoms would be fever, headache, mouth sores, colds, fatigue, nosebleed, skin bleeding.
Others: Blood in urine, increased potassium in blood. Hypertensive patient may have kidney dysfunction, and edema. NSAIDs have been reported to cause nephrotoxicity. In case of the following reactions: redness, swelling, hot flashes, pain, fever, etc., stop taking the medication and see a doctor immediately.
