Ciprofloxacin HCl (Seaproflox) should be used with caution to patients with epilepsy, in hepatic or renal impairment, in pregnancy, during breast-feeding. It is not recommended to children or adolescents. If it seems that the use of Ciprofloxacin is more important than its risk, then it might be given as 15 mg/kg/day in two divided doses. There is no risk of crystalluria due to use of Ciprofloxacin. To avoid excessive alkalinity of urine, ensure adequate fluid intake.
