Use in pregnancy: Diclofenac topical gel 1% is classified as pregnancy category C. Safety and efficacy in pregnant women have not been clearly established. Avoid using DOSANAC EMULSION GEL during the third trimester because it may lead to premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and inhibit uterine contractions.
Use in lactation: Excretion in breast milk is unknown. Thus, using DOSANAC EMULSION GEL during breast feeding is not recommended.
