Symptoms: Adverse reactions after oral ingestion of Diclofenac gel are similar to those of oral Diclofenac.
Treatment: It is recommended that the stomach should be emptied by vomiting or lavage. Forced diuresis may be beneficial because the drug is excreted in the urine. In addition, oral activated charcoal may help in reduction of Diclofenac. Absorption provides symptomatic supportive treatment for complications such as renal failure, convulsion, GI irritation and respiratory depression.
