Use Mupirocin (Bactroban) two or three times a day for up to ten days.
Always use Mupirocin (Bactroban) exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Check with the doctor or pharmacist if not sure.
If the patient forgets to use Mupirocin (Bactroban): Apply Mupirocin (Bactroban) as soon as remembered and apply the next dose at the usual time.
