Adult: In case of chronic symptoms, initial 8-32 mg/day until clinical response. Reduce dose by 2 mg every 2-3 days until reach the lowest dose.
Pediatric (more than 60 pounds): Use as initial adult dosage.
Pediatric (less than 60 pounds): 4-12 mg/day according to the symptoms of the disease or use as prescribed by physicians.
Patients with renal failure: Dosage adjustment of Triamcinolone is not necessary for patients with renal failure.
Patients with hepatic insufficiency: Since Triamcinolone is primary metabolized in the liver, dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with hepatic insufficiency.
