Overdosage

No acute toxicity and/or death following overdosage of acotiamide are reported. Thus, acute overdosage with acotiamide, even in excessive doses, is not expected to be a clinical problem. In the event of acute overdosage, no specific antidote is available. Treatment consists of immediate gastric lavage or emesis followed by supportive and symptomatic therapy.
