How much to use: For mouth and throat only.
Spray BETADINE Sore Throat Spray to the mucous membrane of the throat several times a day (every 3-4 hours).
Steps to use: 1. Direct the nozzle toward the affected area of the throat and apply 2 or 3 times while saying "Ha" aloud. (If applied while breathing in, the liquid may get into the bronchi or lungs).
2. Children should be supervised by their guardians while using this product.
3. This product is only for spraying the throat; do not ingest or use it for cuts or burns.
4. Take care so that this product does not get into the eyes. Should it get into the eyes, immediately rinse them with water or lukewarm water and see an ophthalmologist if severe irritation develops.
If the patient does not understand the instructions on the monograph, ask a doctor or pharmacist for help.
When to use it: Use as directed by the doctor or pharmacist.
How long to use it: Continue taking BETADINE Sore Throat Spray for as long as the doctor or pharmacist recommends.
If the patient forgets to use it: Use as soon as the patient remembers.
