Parecoxib is indicated for management of acute pain and for the short-term treatment of post-operative pain.
Parecoxib is indicated only in patients with a need for parenteral therapy and for whom a similar benefit could not be obtained from alternative oral therapy. Do not use parecoxib in acute traumatic pain patients with unstable hemodynamic condition.
Parecoxib should not be used for non-severe pain.
