Description

Each tablet contains Norfloxacin 400 mg.

Action

The Bacterial Gyrase Blocker.
NOXINOR-400 is a quinolone compound. It inhibits an enzyme that controls the way bacterial DNA unravels and rewinds when microbes reproduce.

Indications/Uses

Urinary tract infections, Gastrointestinal tract infections.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Urinary tract infections: Acute uncomplicated: 1 tablet 2 times a day for 3 days.
Recurrent or complicated: 1 tablet 2 times a day for 10-21 days.
Gonorrhea: 2 tablets as a single dose.
Gastrointestinal tract infections: 1 tablet 2 times a day for 5 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to quinolones.
Severe renal insufficiency.
Children and pregnant women.

Storage

Tight, light-resistant container below 30°C and protected from moisture.
