Prior to administration, Leucovorin calcium should be inspected visually. The solution for injection or infusion should be a clear, yellowish solution. If cloudy in appearance or particles are observed, the solution should be discarded. Leucovorin calcium solution for injection or infusion is intended only for single use. Any unused portion of the solution should be disposed of in accordance with the local requirements.
After dilution: When diluted according to directions with 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection, chemical and physical in-use stability has been demonstrated when protected from light.
