Action

Prednisolone Acetate is a synthetic corticosteroid and is used by topical application in inflammatory of the eye. It has a local anti-inflammatory action which is approximately 3-5 times greater than that of hydrocortisone. It decreases inflammation by inhibit phospholipase A₂and the chemotactic migration of leukocytes into the focus of inflammation.
