Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 250 mg bid in combination w/ other anti-TB agents.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken after meals if GI discomfort occurs.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Renal impairment. Women suspected of being pregnant & pregnant women. Avoid during lactation. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Insanity, epilepsy-like seizure & spasms. Vertigo, headache; exanthema, fever, itchiness. Tremor, drowsiness, hyperreflexia, joint pain, memory loss or reduction, insomnia; nausea, anorexia, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea.
Drug Interactions
Intensified action of alcohol. Intensified CNS adverse reactions w/ INH & ethionamide.
