Pregnancy: There are no adequate and well controlled studies with Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate in pregnant women. Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Women should be advised to contact their physicians if they become pregnant while taking Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate inhaler.
Nursing Mother: It is not known whether Salmeterol and Fluticasone propionate / metabolites are excreted in human milk. A risk to breastfed newborns / infants cannot be excluded. A decision must be made whether to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue Salmeterol + Fluticasone propionate therapy taking into account the benefit of breastfeeding for the child and the benefit of therapy for the women.
