MDI: Both non-selective and selective β-blockers should be avoided unless there are compelling reasons for the use. Fluticasone concurrent use of barbiturates, carbamazepine, phenytoin, primidone, or rifampicin may enhance the metabolism and reduce the effects of systemic corticosteroids.
