Adult & childn >16 yr Initially 10 mg by IM or IV inj over at least 15 sec, then 10-30 mg every 4-6 hr as required (up to every 2 hr during initial post-op period). Max: 90 mg daily. Max duration of treatment: 2 days. Elderly & patient weighing <50 kg Max: 60 mg daily.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketorolac trometamol & other NSAIDs. History of PUD or GI bleeding, asthma. Suspected or confirmed cerebrovascular bleeding; hemorrhagic diatheses including coagulation disorders. Childn <16 yr.
Carefully weigh potential risks & benefits of use on long-term basis. Monitor for signs of serious GI adverse events; monitor more closely if patient is on another NSAID. Not recommended during pregnancy, labour or delivery & in mothers who are breastfeeding.
