White colored, oval shaped, biconvex film-coated tablets having central break line on one side and plain on another side.
Each film-coated tablet contains: Losartan potassium, USP 100 mg.
Excipients with known effect: This product contains: Lactose: If the patient have been told by the doctor that they have an intolerance to some sugars, contact the doctor before taking this medicinal product. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.
Sodium benzoate (E211): This medicine contains 0.10 mg of sodium benzoate in each 100 mg tablet. Sodium benzoate may increase jaundice (yellowing of the skin and the eyes) in newborn babies (up to 4 weeks old).
