Thiamine mononitrate (vit B₁) 500 mg, pyridoxine HCl (vit B₆) 250 mg, cyanocobalamin (vit B₁₂) 1 mg

Indications/Uses

Neurological & other disorders associated w/ disturbance of metabolic functions influenced by vit B-complex, including diabetic polyneuropathy, alcoholic peripheral neuritis & post-flu neuropathies. Treatment of neuritis & neuralgia of the spinal nerves, especially facial paresis, cervical syndrome, low back pain & ischialgia.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Prophylaxis 1-2 tab daily. Therapeutic 2-4 tab daily.

Overdosage

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Not suitable for childn.

Special Precautions

Not recommended in patients w/ intolerance to some sugars (ie, rare hereditary galactose or fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, Lapp lactase deficiency, or sucrose-isomaltose insufficiency). Regular monitoring is recommended under long-term treatment.

GI complaints (eg, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal pain).

Drug Interactions

Vit B₁: Reduced blood levels w/ long-term use of loop diuretics (eg, furosemide). Vit B₆: Decreased efficacy w/ pyridoxine-antagonists (eg, INH, cycloserine, penicillamine, hydralazine). Reduced effect of levodopa.
