Dosage/Direction for Use

Take each dose of aspirin with a full glass of water unless patient is fluid restricted.
Aspirin maintenance should be initiated once hypertension is controlled. (See Table 2.)

Aspilets-EC: The tablet must be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or bite the enteric-coated tablet since this may cause inappropriate release and absorption of the drug. (See Table 3).
