Tanakan Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Summary of the safety profile: The most common side effects are abdominal pain, diarrhea and dizziness.
If the patient develops a severe allergic reaction (angioedema) manifested by a swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, stop taking this medicine immediately and seek medical attention as a matter of urgency.
Other possible side effects: Frequent (may affect up to 1 in 10 people): Allergic reaction, Difficulty in breathing, Headache, Syncope, Indigestion, Nausea, Eczema, Itching.
Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people): Hives, Rash.
If the patient gets any side effects, talk to the doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this monograph.
