Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn ≥12 yr 10-20 mL once daily, 6-11 yr 5-10 mL once daily, 2-5 yr 5 mL once daily. Duration: Not >3 consecutive days.

Overdosage

View Laxstoo overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.

Administration

Should be taken with food: Shake well before use. Take preferably at bedtime, drink full glass of liqd w/ each dose.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Not be taken if abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, change in bowel habits or rectal bleeding are present. Renal impairment.

Special Precautions

Discontinue use if rectal bleeding or no bowel movement after 6 hr occur. Abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, sudden change in bowel habit lasting >2 wk or laxative use for >1 wk. Renal disease. Avoid use during pregnancy & lactation.
