AdultGastric & duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis 2 g twice daily in the morning & at bedtime or 1 g 4 times daily. Duration of therapy: 4-6 wk, or up to 12 wk. Max daily dose: 8 g. Duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis 10 mL 4 times daily. Stress ulcer 10 mL twice daily.
Administration w/ enteral nutrition should be done w/ 1-hr interval. Take other medications 2 hr before sucralfate. Antacids may be administered ½ hr before or after sucralfate administration. Patients w/ renal impairment & undergoing dialysis. Pregnancy. Not recommended in childn <15 yr.
