Zopiclone is a sleeping pill. It helps you fall asleep if you have problem sleeping (also known as insomnia).
Take Zopiclone exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor.
Take this medicine just before you go to bed. Take it only when you can get a full night's sleep (7-8 hours) before being active again.
You may take this medicine with or without food.
Do not take Zopiclone for a longer period of time than instructed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if this medicine does not seem to help you.
If you are taking this medicine over a certain period of time, do not stop taking it suddenly as this may worsen your condition. Your doctor will gradually reduce the dose before stopping it completely. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
Zopiclone is used to help you sleep. You may not need to take it every day. Take it only when you need it. If you miss a dose, take it at your next scheduled dose.
