Indications/Uses

Insomnia.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult Initially 3.75 mg. Max: 7.5 mg. Treatment duration: Usually should not exceed 7-10 days. Use for >2-3 consecutive wk requires complete re-evaluation of the patient. Elderly, hepatic & renal insufficiency Dose should not exceed 5 mg.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Myasthenia gravis, severe renal & hepatic failure, sleep apnoea syndrome, resp insufficiency.
