Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Eye disorders: Very common: may affect more than 1 in 10 people: Transient burning or stinging sensations, eye irritation, blurred vision.
Common: may affect up to 1 in 10 people: Inflammation of the cornea (superficial punctate keratitis), redness of the conjunctiva (conjunctival hyperaemia).
Reporting of side effects: If the patient gets any side effects, talk to the doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed. The patient can also report side effects directly via the national reporting system.
