Sooubey Nasal & Sinus Rinse system is a non-medicated, preservative free irrigation kit for washing the nose and sinus cavities. The starter kit contains an anti-backflow nasal irrigator and rinse mix packets. It has been formulated to closely mimic the body's own extracellular fluid, so it is gentle on nasal and sinus tissues.
The Exclusive nasal rinse mix is mainly composed of sea salt, sodium bicarbonate, citric acid and sodium citrate. The mix is dissolved in lukewarm pre-boiled water to form a rinse solution which cleanses, moisturizes and protects the nasal mucosa. The solution is preservative free and non-medicated, natural and safe.
The nasal irrigator is hand-squeezed to gently force the washing solution flow into nasal passages and sinuses. The one-way liquid valve permits the fluid to flow only from the suction tube into the nostril but not back to the bottle, preventing contamination of the solution and bottle. The one-way air valve allows air to flow into the bottle to prevent negative pressure in the bottle which allows continuous nasal irrigation. The nostril fitting is soft silicone, designed to fit all users, especially children. It allows the rinse solution to flow into the nasal passages and sinus gently and easily without leaking onto the face. The flow speed of the liquid is controlled by the user's hand.

Sooubey Nasal & Sinus Rinse system is designed to symptoms caused by nasal problems through cleaning out air pollutants, harmful microorganisms and particles in a safe, comfortable, simple and effective manner.
Colds and sinusitis: to help clear excess mucus, bacteria and inflammatory materials from the nose and sinus cavities which helps minimise congestion and relieve facial pressure often felt with sinusitis.
Hayfever and allergies: to help wash away excess mucus, pollens, dust, pet dander and other irritants to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.
Postnasal operative care: to help wash away mucus, dried blood and debris from the nose and sinuses after surgery.
Postnasal drip: to help wash away excess mucus to reduce the frequency and severity of a dry cough.
User Population: 3 years and older children, adults.

Do not use if the patient has a bleeding disorder or is using anticoagulants, unless advised by a health professional.
Do not use if the patient has an ear infection or has undergone recent middle ear surgery.
Patients must be advised not to sniff, swallow, laugh or talk while the liquid is flowing through the nose.
Patients must be advised not to share the nasal irrigator with others to prevent transmitting infection to others.
Patients must be advised not to use pure water to wash nose which can cause chock or cell edema.
Patients must be advised not to use table salt which contains iodine to make wash solution. Iodine damages nose membrane.
Patients must be advised not to use pure salt solution as it may cause nasal dryness or damage nasal.

Use in Children: Children need to be monitored and directed by an adult or physician.

May be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Store at room temperature (below 30°C) in a dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.

Assembly and Use: 1. Before Use: Thoroughly wash the irrigator bottle, tube and cap in warm water. For best results, use with Sooubey nasal irrigator. Dry with a clean paper towel to make sure the bottle is clean and ready to use.
2. Fill the bottle with lukewarm pre-boiled water (37°C, use distilled or bottled water if you recently had nasal surgery) to the top line (180 mL). Open one Sooubey Mix packet and pour all of the contents into the bottle. Screw the cap firmly onto the bottle. Place your finger over the top of the cap and shake the bottle until all the powder has dissolved. Once dissolved, use the mixture immediately.
3. Bend over a sink and tilt your head down. Open your mouth and place the nostril fitting snugly into one nostril. Breathe through the mouth, not the nose, while washing. Gently squeeze and release repeatedly the bottle until the solution drains from the opposite nostril or your mouth. DO NOT squeeze the bottle all the way in one motion. During irrigation, DO NOT swallow, talk or laugh to prevent chock.
4. Before irrigating the other side of the nose, you can gently blow your nose to clear excess fluid and mucus. DO NOT blow your nose if you have recently had nasal or sinus surgery unless your surgeon recommends it. If the solution is difficult to come out from one nostril, you may try to irrigate from that side but not too powerful.
5. Insert the nostril fitting into the other side of nostril, repeat step 3 as previously mentioned till your nasal cavity becomes clean or all liquid is used out.
6. To get rid of the residual water, you bend over and point your nose toward the knees, and then gently breathe in the mouth and out the nose for several times. A few droplets of water may run down. Repeat for 5-10 times. If there is little solution left in your nasal cavity, it is harmless and no need to worry about it. The leftover solution helps to moisturize the nasal cavity. Occasionally, sneezing will occur after irrigation due to the effect of the rinsing solution, which is a normal phenomenon.
7. Use Sooubey any time of the day except the last hour before bed. For users with recent nasal surgery, it is recommended doing a nasal rinse 2-3 times a day. For users with nasal problems, it is recommended doing a nasal rinse twice a day or as recommended by your physician. For users without nasal problems, rinsing the nose twice a week can provide general nasal hygiene.
Maintenance: After each nasal wash, rinse the bottle and cap completely and leave them to air dry. Replace the irrigator after 3 months of use or its elasticity is gone.
