Vitamin B1 nitrate, vitamin B6 hydrochloride, vitamin B12.
Each tablet contains 100 mg thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1 nitrate), 100 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6 hydrochloride), and 5000 μg vitamin B12.
Properties: Neurobion FORTE contains vitamins B1, B6 and B12 which act as coenzymes and accordingly constitute substances essential for metabolism. Their role in the metabolism of different tissues including peripheral and central nerve cells, as well as their concomitant cells must be seen in correlation with the maintenance of the structural and functional properties of the nervous system. Further, in most of the populations such as elderly, diabetic individuals and others, deficiency of all three neurotropic vitamins is present.
This product is used for the improvement of pins and needles, tingling, numbness and burning sensation.
Adults and children aged 14 years and over: 1 tablet daily, or as directed by the doctor.
Tablets are swallowed without chewing, with liquid and with or after a meal.
To get the best benefits, patients should take the product for up to 3 months depending on how bad the symptoms are. The product is normally not used for longer than 6 months without doctor's advice, and in this case, regular monitoring of the patient is recommended.
Patients who have taken too much should stop taking this product and seek medical advice.
This product should not be taken by patients who are allergic to vitamin B1, vitamin B6 or vitamin B12, or any of the ingredients.
This product should not be used in children under the age of 14 years.
Patients whose symptoms persist should stop using this product and seek medical advice.
This product is generally not recommended for long-term use (>6 months) due to the daily dose of vitamin B6. Regular monitoring is recommended in patients who are advised to take this product for longer than 6 months.
Patients who have any new symptoms should stop the usage and seek medical advice.
Long-term intake of vitamin B12 may improve folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia and care should be taken that a correct diagnosis is not masked.
This product contains milk or milk products and cereals containing gluten.
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding should seek medical advice before taking this product.
Side effects that can occur when taking this product include: allergic reactions, including sweating, fast heart rate, or skin rashes with itching or nettle rash. Patients may experience: nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomachache, headache or reddish-coloured urine.
Patients who are taking diuretics should seek medical advice before using this product.
Patients who are taking a levodopa-containing medicine should seek medical advice before using this product.
Some medicines lower the effectiveness of vitamin B6 treatment. These include pyridoxine antagonists such as isoniazid, cycloserine, penicillamine or hydralazine. Patients who are taking any of these medicines should seek medical advice before using this product.
Do not use if package is damaged.
Store in a cool dry place, below 25°C.
