Not recommended for long-term use (>6 mth) due to the daily dose of vit B6. Regularly monitor patients taking the product for >6 mth. Long-term intake of vit B12 may improve folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia & care should be taken that a correct diagnosis is not masked. Contains milk or milk products & cereals containing gluten.
Allergic reactions, including sweating, fast heart rate, or skin rashes w/ itching or nettle rash. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomachache, headache or reddish-coloured urine.
Drug Interactions
Potential interaction w/ diuretics; levodopa. Lowered effectiveness of vit B6 w/ pyridoxine antagonists eg, INH, cycloserine, penicillamine or hydralazine.
