Aripiprazole Actavis Dosage/Direction for Use

The recommended dose for adults is 15 mg once a day. However a lower or higher dose to a maximum of 30 mg once a day may be prescribed.
Use in children and adolescents: Aripiprazole Actavis Tablets may be started at a low dose with the oral solution (liquid) form. The dose may be gradually increased to the recommended dose for adolescents of 10 mg once a day. However a lower or higher dose to a maximum of 30 mg once a day may be prescribed.
If patient has the impression that the effect of Aripiprazole Actavis Tablet is too strong or too weak, he/she should talk to the doctor or pharmacist.
Try to take the Aripiprazole Actavis Tablet at the same time each day. It does not matter whether the patient takes it with or without food. Always take the tablet with water and swallow it whole.
Even if patients feel better, do not alter or discontinue the daily dose of Aripiprazole Actavis Tablets without first consulting a doctor.
If patient forgets to take Aripiprazole Actavis Tablets: If patient misses a dose, take the missed dose as soon as remembered but do not take two doses in one day.
