Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult including the elderly Initially 5 mg once daily. Max: 10 mg once daily.

Overdosage

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to amlodipine besilate or any other Ca channel blockers eg, nifedipine, felodipine. Unstable angina (excluding Prinzmetal angina), aortic stenosis, cardiogenic shock. Pregnancy & lactation.

Special Precautions
Patients w/ recent heart attack w/in the last mth; heart failure; hypertensive crisis; hepatic impairment. Not recommended in childn.
