Indications/Uses

Hyperuricemia & chronic gout.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Reduction of increased uric acid to normal levels w/in approx 1-3 wk Initially 600 mg daily. Maintenance: 100-300 mg daily.

Administration

Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.

Contraindications

Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Pruritus & urticaria, rise in temp, eosinophilia & leukopenia.
