Indications/Uses

Spiriva Handihaler: SPIRIVA is indicated for the maintenance treatment of patients with COPD (including chronic bronchitis and emphysema), the maintenance treatment of associated dyspnoea and for prevention of exacerbations.
Spiriva Respimat: COPD: SPIRIVA RESPIMAT is indicated for the maintenance treatment of patients with COPD (including chronic bronchitis and emphysema), the maintenance treatment of associated dyspnoea, the improvement of COPD compromised quality of life and reduction of exacerbations.
Asthma: SPIRIVA RESPIMAT is indicated as add-on maintenance treatment for the improvement of asthma symptoms, quality of life, and reduction of exacerbations, in patients aged 6 years and older with moderate to severe asthma who remain symptomatic on at least inhaled corticosteroids.
