Indications/Uses
Male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) to increase hair growth & prevent further hair loss.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy or potential pregnancy. Women & childn.
Special Precautions
Not effective in postmenopausal women w/ androgenetic alopecia. Women who are or may potentially be pregnant should not handle crushed or broken tab. Decreased PSA levels by 50% in older men w/ benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Adverse Reactions
Decreased libido & vol of ejaculate, erectile dysfunction, male breast cancer. Hypersensitivity reactions eg, rash, pruritus, urticaria & angioedema (including swelling of the lips, tongue, throat & face); depression, suicidal ideation; breast tenderness & enlargement, testicular pain, hematospermia, male infertility &/or poor seminal quality.
