Dosage/Direction for Use

IV/IM Initially 0.5-9 mg daily divided into 2-3 doses. May be adjusted depending on disease severity.

Contraindications

Systemic fungal infections, active GI ulcer, TB, viral infection. Administration of live virus vaccine in patients receiving immunosuppressive doses of steroid.
