Each tablet contains Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol 25 mcg) 1000 IU (500% Thai RDI).
Vitamin D3 is manufactured in the skin through the action of sunlight and is also obtained from food sources. The use of sunscreens may be another factor that may negatively affect vitamin D status.
Adequate levels of vitamin D throughout life are important for building and maintaining bone mass. Vitamin D is useful in reducing bone loss and fracture incidence in the elderly.

Adults: One tablet daily with meal.
Vitamin D is contraindicated in those with hypercalcemia and in those with evidence of vitamin D toxicity.
Pregnant women and nursing mothers.
None noted in the literature at the recommended dosage (1000 IU per day).
Supplemental vitamin D should be used cautiously in those on digoxin or any cardiac glycosides.
Concomitant use of thiazides and pharmacologic doses of vitamin D may cause hypercalcemia in some.

Do not use the product if there are any significant changes in appearance of tablets.
