In clinical trials for treatment of visual impairment due to DME, the outcome with regards to visual acuity or central retinal thickness in patients treated with Lucentis was not affected by concomitant treatment with thiazolidinediones (see Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics: Clinical Studies under Actions).
