Durvalumab is an immunoglobulin and the primary elimination pathways of durvalumab are protein catabolism via reticuloendothelial system or target mediated disposition, therefore no formal pharmacokinetic (PK) drug-drug interaction studies have been conducted with durvalumab since no metabolic drug-drug interactions are expected. PK drug-drug interaction between durvalumab and chemotherapy was assessed in the CASPIAN study and no clinically meaningful PK drug-drug interaction was identified. PK drug-drug interaction between durvalumab in combination with tremelimumab and platinum-based chemotherapy was assessed in the POSEIDON study and no clinically meaningful PK drug-drug interaction was identified. PK drug-drug interaction between durvalumab in combination with tremelimumab was assessed in the HIMALAYA study and no clinically meaningful PK drug-drug interaction was identified. Furthermore, in the DUO-E study, no clinically meaningful PK drug-drug interactions were observed between durvalumab and olaparib.
