Test glucose conc in fresh capillary whole blood, as well as venous, arterial & neonatal whole blood samples designed for in vitro diagnostic use only.

Read Getting Started Guide or User's Manual for instructions on running blood test & getting blood sample. Measuring range: 10-600 mg/dL (0.6-33.3 mmol/L). Test time: 5 sec.

Not to be used w/ other test strip brands; during flights; at altitude >10,000 ft (3,048 meter); to test critically ill patients; for serum or plasma testing; for screening or diagnosis of DM. Not recommended to drip or inj sample directly by syringe to test strip. Not to use or reuse expired test strips or lancets; test on palm if testing for insulin dose calculations or hypoglycemia. Avoid contact w/ spilled liqd. Potential to transmit infectious diseases. Indirect transmission of HIV, HBV & HCV. May cause inaccurate low results due to severe dehydration & excessive water loss. Test result may be affected by high blood conc of interference ingredients. Wait at least 30 min before testing again if meter or strips are exposed to extreme temp changes, or environmental temp outside meter operating temp [<6°C (43°F) or >44°C (111°F)]. Keep meter away from electromagnetic radiation sources eg, x-rays or MRI. Perform cleaning & disinfecting procedure; quality control test using control soln if meter has been dropped or damaged; decontamination prior to use if operated by another person.
