Irsogladine maleate
Indications/Uses
Gastric ulcer. Improvement of gastric mucosal lesion (erosion, hemorrhage, redness & edema) caused by acute gastritis & acute exacerbation stage of chronic gastritis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 4 mg daily. Elderly Start at low dose (eg, 2 mg daily).
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Renal & liver diseases. Pregnancy. Childn. Closely monitor elderly (physiological hypofunction).
Adverse Reactions
Increased AST (GOT), ALT (GPT), alkaline phosphatase & LDH. Constipation, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting; rash, itching; chest pressure sensation.
