Incompatibilities: Following reconstitution with an acceptable diluent, parecoxib sodium may be injected into an IV line delivering 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, 5% Dextrose Injection, Lactated Ringer's Injection, or 5% Dextrose and 0.45% Sodium Chloride Injection.
Injection into a line delivering 5% Dextrose in Lactated Ringer's, or other IV fluid not listed here, is not recommended, as this may cause precipitation from solution.
Parecoxib sodium should not be admixed for injection with any other drug.
Do not inject parecoxib into an IV line delivering any other drug. The IV line must be adequately flushed prior to, and after parecoxib injection with a solution of known compatibility.
