Benzydamine is 1-Benzyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropoxy)-1H-indazole. Benzydamine hydrochloride is a white, odourless, crystalline powder with a bitter taste, soluble in water, ethanol, methanol and chloroform. It is sparingly soluble in ether and petroleum ether.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Mint-fresh flavor: It also contains ethanol, saccharin sodium, methylhydroxybenzoate, glycerol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, purified water and mint flavouring. It does not contain gluten, lactose, sugar or colour.
Lemon flavor: Isomalt, anhydrous citric acid, lemon flavour, levomenthol, sucralose, colour quinoline yellow.
