Adverse Reactions

Atropine effects such as dryness of the skin and mucous membranes, flushing, hyperthermia, tachycardia and urinary retention may occur. Other adverse reactions reported are: Gastrointestinal: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, paralytic ileus, toxic megacolon.
Allergic: pruritus, swelling of gums, giant urticaria, angioneurotic oedema.
Nervous System: dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, headache, malaise/lethargy, restlessness, euphoria, depression, respiratory depression, coma, numbness of extremities.
