Indications/Uses

Anorexiant for treatment of condition associated w/ excessive food intake. Adjuvant to dietary restriction.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult One to two 15-mg cap or one 30-mg cap daily.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take before breakfast. Avoid taking near bedtime. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.

Contraindications

Epilepsy, hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic amines; advanced arteriosclerosis; severe HTN; hyperexcitability; CV disease, hyperthyroidism; glaucoma.

Special Precautions

Childn <12 yr; pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Dry mouth, restlessness, insomnia, headache, tremor, irritability, dizziness, increase in BP.
