There is no specific antidote for overdose with rufinamide. If indicated, elimination of unabsorbed drug should be attempted by gastric lavage or by induction of emesis. Treatment should be supportive and may include hemodialysis. (See Pharmacology: Pharmacokinetics under Actions.)
Multiple dosing of 7,200 mg/day was associated with no major signs or symptoms.
