Alcohol and drugs that cause sedation may increase the sedative eﬀects of pregabalin. Pioglitazone (Actos) and rosiglitazone (Avandia) cause weight gain, ﬂuid retention and possibly heart failure. Therefore, combining pregabalin with these drugs may increase the occurrence of weight gain and ﬂuid retention.
