Adult (including elderly) Initial dose: 16 mg tid. Maintenance dose: 24-48 mg daily.

Drug Interactions
Inhibited metabolism w/ MAOIs including monoamine oxidase subtype B eg, selegiline. Antagonism w/ antihistamines may be theoretically expected. β2-agonists effects may be decreased. Reports of potentiation w/ salbutamol, & interaction w/ ethanol & maloprim.
