If patient is allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance, to any of the other components of TYPHIM Vi (see Description), to formaldehyde (used during the production of the vaccine and which may be present in it in small amounts).
If patient is ill with a high temperature. Vaccination must be postponed until after patient has recovered.
