Each tablet contains Glimepiride USP 2 mg.
Glimepiride is an oral hypoglycemic drug belonging to the sulfonylurea group. It stimulates the release of insulin from functioning pancreatic β-cells. It also can increase sensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin. Glimepiride is a light orange flat oblong shaped tablet having a break line on one face and other face being plain.
