The usual starting dose of Telmisartan Tablet is 40 mg once daily this may be increased, if necessary to a maximum dose of 80 mg once daily. Blood pressure response is dose related over the range of 20-80 mg. Lower doses should be considered in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
